Yoga for Runners
Running is such a joyous and natural thing to do injury just doesn’t need to be a part of it. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Helen Clare, yoga teacher, running leader and keen trail runner.
I know my running has improved through my yoga practice, and I have healed past injuries. That is why I offer runners, whatever level you are currently at, different ways of bringing yoga into your training program.
Yoga and Running Retreats
We also host specially designed yoga retreats for runners through the year that comprise of morning yoga specifically designed to build key areas and impart important techniques to take into your running, technical drills led by myself, and guided trail runs. All this supported by luxury accommodation, beautiful plant based food, the stunning surroundings and evening Yin Yoga sessions designed to help tired muscles recover and the mind relax.
One to One Yoga for Runners
While my group classes have a yoga for athletes focus, for many students and particularly those with a longterm injury, my bespoke one to one sessions are a fantastic resource to overcome injury and return to running pain free.
