Tropical Pressure Festival 17-19 July 2015

Last weekend was the second coming of the Tropical Pressure Festival –  and I was thrilled to be asked to teach some yoga classes again! I am always happy to support my regular class venue plus I got to enjoy the music and the atmosphere! Set at Mount Pleasant Eco Park in Porthtowan, Cornwall, it’s an absolutely perfect festival venue – with sea views in one direction and countryside in the other. Twice as many tickets were sold this year than last, yet it still wasn’t too busy with just the right amount of people to create an amazing, friendly atmosphere.

To my surprise, a huge group turned up for both of my yoga classes! Saturday we were outside on the grass in the sunshine, Sunday we went into the barn due to drizzle – but by the afternoon the sun was blazing!! Some yogis in attendance were a little on the tired side (to be expected after a night of dancing!) but I was so delighted to see such a large number of people making the effort to crawl out of their tents and taking up the offer of a yoga class at the festival. I had some lovely, wonderful feedback from many who enjoyed the classes, and I think I did my part in setting everyone up for the day of awesome Latin, African and Caribbean music, dance and workshops.

Thank you to everyone who came, and a massive well done and congratulations to the whole Eco Park Tropical Pressure team who organised and delivered such an awesome event. I look forward to to the next one!
